ICC Disfellowship Announcement

ICC Disfellowship Announcement

by Raul Moreno

Dear International Christian Churches,

Romans 16:17-19 “I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery, they deceive the minds of naive people. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice because of you: but I want you to be wise about what is good, and Innocent about what is evil.”

It is with heavy heart that we announce that Jason Dimitry, Kyle Bartholomew, Fernando Chavez, Evan Bartholomew, Mike Patterson and their wives are being disfellowshipped for deception, lies and slander against the International Christian Church (ICC) Family. They have started a faction (Galatians 5:20) calling it the Restored Church Worldwide (RCW) and stole the hearts of precious disciples who have been deceived by these arrogant men (2 Samuel 15:6). This is ungodly division. The RCW faction has publicly announced open forums to persuade disciples to join their group and leave the kingdom.

The Bible is very clear that gossip separates close friends (Proverbs 16:28). We are alarmed that Jason, Kyle, Fernando, Evan and Mike have used half-truths to kill, steal and destroy the faith of unsuspecting disciples. Jesus was condemned by half-truths which are total lies (Luke 23:2). These men have deceitfully used their personal hurts within the Kingdom to damage the faith of disciples. They have justified this rebellion by calling us “lukewarm” while in truth several of our churches and world sectors are growing at a faster rate than what has been reported (Austral-China 35%, Europe 25%, Latin America 20%).

2 Timothy 3:1 – 5 “But mark this: There will be terrible times in last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive … ungrateful, unholy … unforgiving … slanderous … not lovers of the good … rash … having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.” As Paul called the churches to “have nothing to do with them”, we are calling all true disciples to have nothing to do with them.

Some may ask why disfellowship someone that is not part of our church? We believe the disciples in the RCW are our brothers and sisters. Because of that, we affect one another be it positively or negatively. In fact, just a few weeks ago we were all in the same fellowship. The issue is presently with the top leadership.

Please keep us in your prayers as we encourage everyone to place their focus back on God, our love for one another and our love for the lost. We are family to the end.

To God be all the glory and praise,

Raul Moreno
